This webinar is an overview of the California Wraparound Toolkit, discussing the journey of how the toolkit came to be and how you can use the toolkit to enhance your Wraparound Implementation. Our first guest, Chris Pettee, will also join to give an overview of FFPSA Part IV Aftercare Wraparound.

Presenters:

Rebekah Cox is a Wraparound trainer and consultant. She has a master's degree in Counseling Psychology and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. Cox has been a family specialist, facilitator, clinician, supervisor, trainer and coach. She has been an active member of the California Wraparound Community over the last 10 years, including being a member of the California Wraparound Advisory Committee-Core Steering Committee, co-chair of the Fidelity, Data and Outcomes Workgroup and co-chair of the Southern California Wraparound Hub.

Dawne' Shaw  is a Wraparound specialist with the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice at UC Davis Continuing and Professional Education - Human Services. She has been providing services to youth and families for over 15 years. As a mother who raised a child with challenges, she brings both personal and professional life experience to the support she offers. She is active in her community and collaborates with UC Davis Human Services as co-chair for the Parent Advisory Council, Special Education Parent Advisory Committee. She also facilitates the Southern Region of the Peer Partner Hub, co-chairs the Southern California Wraparound Hub, is a member of the California Wraparound Steering Committee and for the California Wraparound Advisory Committee itself. As the Program Specialist for Oak Grove Center, she provided training, coaching and mentoring in Wraparound to the staff, youth and families.

Chris Pettee is a program analyst within the Family Centered Practice Unit of California Department of Social Services (CDSS).  He has provided services to foster youth and their families for over 23 years. He provides support with organizing and facilitating California Wraparound Steering Committee, California Wraparound Advisory Committee and Wraparound Fidelity & Outcomes Data Workgroup.  Prior to working at CDSS, he was an administrator with an agency providing services for foster youth and their families in the northern California region.  He earned his master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from California State University-Sacramento.  He is deeply committed to the implementation and integration of the Integrated Core Practice Model within his CDSS division to improve the quality of services to youth, families and the community.
