Revisiting Visitation (Virtual Training)

This half-day workshop will review the purpose and benefits of visits and best practices associated conducting visits. Visits between parents-child are necessary for successful family reunification while also maintaining child safety. Research that has been conducted on visits identifies maintaining parent-child relationships and other family attachments, as well as reducing the sense of abandonment that children experience during placement, as potential benefits of this type of intervention.

This workshop walks participants through successfully setting up family time and how to monitor for safety.
