Resource Family Approval for Probation

The Resource Family Approval (RFA) for Probation is a two-day training that has been developed for probation county staff who will be working within the county’s RFA Program. This class will provide probation with the knowledge and skills t to recruit and approve homes specifically targeted for juvenile justice youth. The training provides an overview of RFA and Continuum of Care Reform (CCR) and will also focus on key elements in the RFA process and building skills in the Family Evaluation component. The training weaves together the basic components and skills required to do the RFA process.
