This course will provide training in the Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Program, all relevant program policy updates, and business processes related to Refugee Employment & Training Services.
By the end of this training, participants will have an understanding of eligibility concepts and requirements of the Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) program, and the steps necessary to correctly administer the program, including:
- Review/assess for completeness of the RCA application
- Request appropriate documentation
- Explain program benefits and requirements to applicants
- Ensure all eligibility criteria has been met
- Execute correct entries into CalWIN
- Coordinate with EC
- Authorize or deny application, as appropriate
