This two-day training will enhance social workers’ skills for working smarter, not harder in monthly contacts. It teaches approaches to strengthening working relationships with birth parents, resource parents, children and youth and assessing safety, permanency and wellbeing relevant to different developmental ages. It includes opportunities to practice collaborative monitoring of case plans, and concise, complete documentation of monthly contacts.
