Professional Ethics in Public Assistance

This session emphasizes the importance of professional ethics for staff in the helping profession. This session also introduces the National Organization for Human Services Ethical Standards for Human Services Professionals. Participants will identify their personal core values, and compare them with organizational objectives. In addition, this session promotes understanding the steps to ethical decision-making and the importance of applying critical thinking skills to ethical scenarios.
