Our Brains in the Workplace: Building Optimal Workforce Mental Health and Well-Being

Recent advances in neuroscience allow us to better understand the human brain, and how it functions in the workplace. This research has exciting implications for increasing enrichment and engagement in organizational settings. During this interactive training, Beth Cohen, Ph.D.,  will introduce concepts from the emerging field of neuroleadership and how they can be used to build and support thriving human services organizations.  Cohen will discuss how understanding our “social” brain and implementing specific organizational strategies can increase workforce productivity, job satisfaction, retention and well-being.

  • Introduction to S.C.A.R.F. model of organizational leadership
  • Strategies to optimize team engagement and consensus
  • Practical applications for building brain-based organizations
