Motivational Interviewing for Wraparound Facilitators

Motivational interviewing (MI) is an evidence-informed communication approach that when used correctly, motivates people to engage in and maintain behavior change. It is considered a key skill when working with ambivalence. MI is an especially useful tool to support families in finding their own motivation to change. This two-day training focuses on key motivational interviewing techniques, giving participants ample opportunity to practice and refine their MI skills.
