Managing Up and Out in the workplace may mean different things for different roles; and may look different when it comes to your supervisor’s expectations. There are key elements of managing up that are often shared in any supportive position, where ensuring to effectively manage up is essential to the success of your position.
This workshop will explore what it means to manage up in your role. You will understand the value in being proactive when it comes to managing tasks and learn to manage the professional relationship built with your supervisor and your peers. These are elements that work together to create value for your position, add value to the role of your supervisor, and add value to the organization.
