Leading the Commitment to Youth in Placement

Our goal for youth who require the support, supervision and services of placement is that they are able to safely integrate back into the community. Probation departments and their officers must be able to meet the unique needs of youth and their families while working with out-of-home care providers.

The probation manager will be equipped to lead this commitment by:

  • Understanding federal Title IV-E requirements and funding
  • Applying federal and state legal requirements and regulations
  • Ensuring safety, permanency and well-being for youth
  • Leading and supporting a workforce that meets the commitment to youth in placement

As a result, probation managers will effectively create a culture of commitment to meeting the needs of youth and their families while maintaining community safety.
