Enhancing Supervision: Boosters that Refresh Your Skills

This training is designed for any Human Services supervisor who would like to join colleagues for a day of conversations about the job of being a supervisor, including boosters on coaching, providing feedback and supporting staff. This training is based on the principle that staff success leads to client success. Training will address how to balance the need for supportive supervision and the demands of everyday casework questions and decisions, while handling all other supervisory responsibilities. By the end of the day, participants will be inspired, refreshed and feel strengthened in their role by the company and comfort of other supervisors with similar experiences.Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Apply coaching techniques in supervision to support staff
  • Strengthen skills in providing feedback to staff
  • Demonstrate ability to successfully communicate when problem solving with staff
  • Implement effective strategies to provide structure within your unit
