In this e-learning course, participants will be introduced to key knowledge components focusing on indicators of neglect, physical abuse, sexual abuse and exploitation, and emotional abuse. Participants will review relevant sections of California’s Penal and Welfare & Institutions Codes and learn how cultural factors, family roles and family interactions can affect the identification of child maltreatment.
