Best Practices in Voluntary Family Maintenance

Prerequisite: Completion of the SOP Foundational Institute is required to attend this training.

This engaging and interactive full-day course provides an overview of best practice skills and techniques that can be applied to working with families participating in Voluntary Family Maintenance.

After attending this training, participants will be able to:

  • Distinguish how key practice areas (including safety networks, safety planning and case planning) differ between Voluntary Family Maintenance and court ordered service participation.
