Early Intervention 0-5

Maltreated children are at higher risk of developing delays than those in the general population. Supported by the California Department of Social Services, the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice actively supports statewide and community efforts to ensure child welfare compliance and collaboration to meet the requirements of the federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Act specifically with children ages 0-5.

We provide tailored services and training to support Early Start efforts in California. The courses listed below are open for enrollment for child welfare county agency staff, mental health providers, parent partners, community partners/stakeholders who work with children ages 0-5 within or at risk to be within the child welfare system. Please see specific course enrollment policies for more information.
