Family Resilience: Serving as Caregiver for Relatives and Working during COVID-19

Designed for the working individual who is also serving as a caregiver for a family member who may be older, disabled and/or ill during COVID-19, this workshop will provide strategies to best navigate through some of the challenges and building family resilience. We will also explore a multitude of activities that can be used to increase mindfulness, reduce stress and practice self-care; and will provide tangible tools to support you in your roles as a caregiver and a working individual.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize signs of caregiver burnout
  • Develop a Growth Mindset responses to stressors
  • Apply and use the Four ‘A’s for Stress Management
  • Identify your own temperaments and develop a Self-Care Plan accordingly
