Fiscal Academy

Greetings! I am pleased to announce the development of a new Web site devoted to county fiscal training opportunities and resources. The training opportunities listed on this site are sponsored by the California Department of Social Services, in close cooperation with The Center for Human Services at UC Davis Extension, (and made possible with generous contributions from the Foundation Consortium of California and the California First Five Commission). This Web site provides information and reference materials from the FY 2005-06 two-day training sessions and forums, along with a resource library aimed at providing useful insight into financing mechanisms and opportunities to improve programs that serve vulnerable children. I hope you will take advantage of resources available here to establish fiscal efficiencies to help families.
