About the Resource Center

As part of the Center for Human Services at UC Davis Extension, the Resource Center for Family-Focused Practice serves the multidisciplinary human services needs of organizations with an emphasis on family-centered practice. In partnership with the California Department of Social Services, the Resource Center provides research, custom and standardized training, technical support, symposia and support services with the goal of integrating practice approaches to improve outcomes for children and families. Settlement Reached in Katie A. Lawsuit
As many of you are aware, there has been a lawsuit in litigation regarding mental health services for children and youth receiving foster care services. A settlement has been reached and has been approved by the Court. Below you will find copies of the settlement agreement. The California Department of Social Services is continuing to work on greater detail. Look for training in the near future to address your needs around this important issue to meet the well-being of our children and youth.

Wraparound Institute 2012
Save the date and plan to take part in the Seventh California Wraparound Institute…coming June 13-15, 2012.
