This workshop focuses on preparing and presenting a case under the California Department of Social Services fair hearing regulations. The workshop is designed to assist county fair hearing representatives in developing and refining advocacy skills and techniques.
Topics include:
- organizing and presenting the case
- rules of evidence
- using documentary and testimonial evidence
- direct and cross examination
Mock direct and cross examinations help participants practice new skills in the workshop setting.
