Services overview
Through partnerships, special programs and tailored training The Center offers a variety of ways to support agencies and communities in responding to all forms of family violence.
This section offers an overview of programs for social services, law enforcement, public health and medical professionals.
California Medical Training Center
To help train medical providers, law enforcement and social work professionals, The Center partners with the Department of Pediatrics at the UC Davis Medical Center in operating the California Medical Training Center. The CMTC addresses prevention and intervention strategies in five domains of family violence:
- child physical abuse
- child sexual abuse
- domestic violence
- elder abuse
- sexual assault
